CRNA, 1.0FTE, Deer River, MN

Administers anesthesia to patients of all ages in the operating room, delivery room, and provides other related services as needed in other patient care areas according to Medical Center policies and procedures. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
Use a variety of skills working independently in the 20-bed critical access hospital in the OR, OB delivery room, scope room and ED; and at the nearby outpatient Lakewood Surgery Center. This is a growing, progressive practice where you work as a valued member of a team.

1:4 call with call pay
QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)
Education and/or years experience required:
Has graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
Has graduated from an accredited school of nurse anesthesia.
Knowledge of current principles and methods of general, regional and local anesthetics.
Ability to function in stressful and emergent situations.
Some CRNA experience required - this position is not open to new grads
Licensure/Certifications required:
Holds a current license in the state of practice.
Is certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists; and has graduated from an accredited school of nurse anesthesia and is awaiting initial certification. Must pass certification exam within 12 months of graduation.
Re-certified per the NBCRNA.
Holds current BCLS/ACLS certification

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
