Family Medicine & Hospitalist (0.6-1.0 FTE)

PRACTICE SPECIFICS
  • Our ideal candidate would be a strong team player that is looking for a full-scope, varied practice in a rural setting
  • Enjoy the opportunity to practice in both an outpatient clinic setting and as a hospitalist
  • Hospitalist Coverage = 3-4 day stretch, every 6 weeks
  • Eldercare rounding available if interested
  • Strong, interdependent team environment. We work in close collaboration with our existing Grand Rapids team (20 minutes away).
  • Physician-led organization
  • Call = Hospitalist Call:
    Approximately, 1 week, every 6 weeks. Hospitalists serve as backup 7AM-7PM for ER docs.
  • Clinic is adjoining Essentia Health Deer River; a modern, 15 bed, Critical Access Hospital, with 24/7 ER physician coverage and Nurse Triage
  • Clinic of 14 providers including family medicine physicians and nurse practitioners partnering to deliver team-based care
  • Optional Opportunities:
    colposcopies, endoscopies, stress tests, ER work, and EGD s
  • EPIC electronic medical record
  • Flexible, 0.6 1.0 FTE

REQUIREMENTS

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
